Yes. Ab Initio courses are SL only and designed for students with no prior experience in the language.

Can I take Ab Initio if I already know some Spanish?

Ab Initio is intended for true beginners. If you have prior knowledge, your school may recommend Spanish B instead. Our tutors can help assess your level.
